Key Responsibilities
• Develop, test, and deploy applications using the Appian Low-Code Platform.
• Design and implement business process workflows, user interfaces, and integrations within Appian.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.
• Build and maintain Appian records, reports, process models, interfaces, and integrations.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices.
• Assist in application maintenance, enhancements, and performance optimization.
• Create technical documentation and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Stay updated with the latest Appian features, capabilities, and industry best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in software development or Appian development.
• Basic understanding of Appian components such as Process Models, SAIL Interfaces, Records, Reports, and Expressions.
• Knowledge of business process management (BPM) concepts.
• Understanding of databases and SQL fundamentals.
• Familiarity with REST and SOAP APIs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Preferred Skills
• Appian Certified Associate Developer certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, SQL, or web technologies.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Exposure to integration concepts and third-party system connectivity.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
