Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced API Integration Developer to design, develop, and maintain API integrations that connect various platforms and applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of backend development, API lifecycle management, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop API integrations for internal and external systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements.
• Ensure seamless connectivity between applications through RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs, and webhooks.
• Optimize APIs for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in API integrations.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of APIs and integration processes.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and data privacy regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in API development and integration.
• Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with API management tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar.
• Familiarity with authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT, API keys).
• Knowledge of database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and their integration with APIs.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of message queuing and event-driven architectures.
