Job Description:
Appbay Technologies is seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing, configuring, and customizing solutions on the ServiceNow platform. You will be responsible for implementing and enhancing ServiceNow applications, workflows, integrations, and automation solutions to support business and IT operations while ensuring scalability, performance, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, configure, and customize applications and modules on the ServiceNow platform.
• Design and implement workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, catalog items, and service catalog solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and project teams to gather requirements and deliver effective ServiceNow solutions.
• Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST APIs, SOAP services, and integration frameworks.
• Configure and support ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, performance bottlenecks, and platform-related challenges.
• Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, testing, and deployment activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration guides, and development artifacts.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to ServiceNow development standards and best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow releases, features, and industry trends.
Required Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture and development concepts.
• Experience working with ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Service Catalog.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, and Flow Designer.
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST APIs, SOAP services, and IntegrationHub.
• Understanding of relational databases and data modeling concepts.
• Experience with ServiceNow workflows, automation, and process optimization.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with modules such as ITOM, HRSD, CSM, GRC, Asset Management, or Service Portal.
• Knowledge of IntegrationHub, MID Server, and Discovery.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience with source control systems such as Git.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is preferred.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is an added advantage.
• Exposure to cloud platforms and enterprise application integrations.
